Who am I?
I’ll be the first person to admit that I’m not an easy person to figure out. Sure, some people may THINK they know what I’m all about, but I keep a lot inside, so not many people know the REAL me.
So who am I?
Good question. How about this? I love this saying…
A Riddle Wrapped in a Mystery Inside an Enigma
A form of Winston Churchill‘s quotation, made in a radio broadcast in October 1939:
- “I cannot forecast to you the action of Russia. It is a riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma; but perhaps there is a key. That key is Russian national interest.”
- (idiomatic) Something very mysterious and hidden.
Ok, so maybe I’m not THAT mysterious, but I like to think I am.
I’m 45 years old, a mother, a sister, a daughter, a niece, an aunt, a paralegal, an amateur photographer… and probably a lot of other things, some fit to be written here, some not… lol. Most of all though, I’m just me. That’s all I’ve ever been, and all I’ll ever be.
Sometimes I think being an adult really sucks, so I don’t act like one all the time. Sometimes I’d rather be this little girl again… carefree, innocent…Oh well. We can’t live life in the past, right?
So what am I doing here, blogging? I’m not really sure actually, lol. I wanted a place to vent, to share my photos, muse about kids, relationships and dating in my 40s, and whatever else I felt like chatting about. I love music, so you’ll probably find a lot about that here too.
I don’t expect everyone to like what I write, or even relate to it, but that’s ok. I’m still going to write it. Just being me.
